The BrandLab Annual Report Website

My second project with The BrandLab was the website for their 2019  Annual Report. In order to engage users, I created a unique navigation using a sentence that represents the mission of the organization. This sentence has clickable key words which link to the five main webpages, each showcasing a BrandLab program.

BrandLab Campaign

The BrandLab is a nonprofit in Minneapolis, founded in 2009 by John Olson.  Their mission is to  introduce, guide and prepare diverse students for creative careers. In order to help the BrandLab reach their fundraising goals for the year, we created a campaign for Give to the Max Day.

Before arriving at the result you see above, I began with wireframes and diagrams exploring several layouts and user experience journeys. This was followed by versioning in both Sketch and Photoshop. Since the client’s target audience is professionals in the advertising world, I worked to create a site that was simple but creative to engage users who are surrounded by design every day.

In years past The BrandLab's annual reports have been heavily focused the numbers to show the success of the organization. In addition to numbers, we utilized videos at the top of five of the webpages to put the emphasis on the people of The BrandLab, . The topic of each video supported different BrandLab programs and offerings.
